In her own words...

Isla has a couple of little phrases she tends to say repeatedly. Throughout the day, we will often overhear her saying "a-beeka-beeka-beeka-beeka" and "meena-meena-meena". For a while there, this was all she said. Now she can say a lot more, but we still here these phrases repeatedly. They are rarely actually said to anyone, but rather uttered for her own amusement. I don't know what they mean. I have decided that they do not mean anything, but they are very much a part of who Isla is. In fact, I now sometimes refer to Isla as 'my little beeka-beeka'.
