Big, Big Girl

Isla is just growing up in leaps and bounds. Yesterday, she crawled (she still crawls on her tummy, not up on her hands and knees) to the nursing stool in her room and pushed herself up into a standing position. Well, sort of standing. Her bottom half was standing, but she was bent at the waist leaning forward on the stool. It was too short for her to stand upright. She pushed herself up again twice today on her cousin's leg.

According to my developmental log, she is not supposed to 'pull self to standing position' until she is between the ages of 9 and 12 months. Apparently, Isla didn't read the developmental log.
