Little bit had her six month check up today, just five days short of hitting the seventh month mark. I postponed scheduling the visit to give Isla time to fully recover from her cold.
The nurse practitioner was dutifully impressed with Isla's motor skills. I was impressed with her reaction to the vaccines. She swallowed all of the rotavirus vaccine, which she fought us on last time, and recovered quickly from the two shots. I hope she doesn't develop a fever, but based on her previous reactions to vaccinations, I am guessing she will have one tomorrow.
Finally, the nurse practitioner referred us to a pediatric ophthalmologist because Isla's left eye seems to turn inward slightly.
